**The Opportunity**

As the Safety Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest safety standards on the project construction site. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated project team, where you will actively promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant safety legislation, policies, and procedures. Your expertise will help identify hazards, implement effective controls, and monitor safety performance, making a direct impact on creating a safe and productive work environment.
- Main responsibilities include:_
- Monitor daily operations to ensure WHS compliance and safety policy adherence
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and ensure risk controls are in place
- Provide SSQ advice, support training needs, and help improve safety practices
- Assist with incident classification, reporting, investigation, and close-out
- Ensure safety management plans, HIDRAs, and inductions are current and followed
- Develop and deliver SSQ inductions, workshops, and training sessions to meet project needs
- Key Selection Criteria:_
- Certificate IV OHS/ WHS or equivalent
- Construction induction card
- ICAM investigations qualification
- Construction industry experience desirable but not essential
- The ability work from our North Head site office (Northern Beaches) most of the time, and from our Girraween head office (Western Sydney) on occasion. A fully maintained vehicle will be provided.
