**About the Role**

Reporting to the Director of Sustainable Communities, the Manager of Community Life is responsible for delivering high quality integrated and future-focused programs and services including maternal and child health, early years, and youth, aged and disability services.

Leading a team of 4, the Manager Community Life will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative and sustainable service delivery models that meet the current and emerging needs of our vibrant and inclusive community.

You are someone who loves working with community. You are someone who puts people in the heart of strategic design and leads with passion and purpose.

Council will look to this role as a strategic and influential leader. You are someone who can provide sound and evidence-based advice to various stakeholders (including Councillors, the CEO and our executive team), and advocate for the best outcomes for our community.

You will have an extensive background in human services, with proven experience in leading cultural change and process improvements. You will also have excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and presentation skills, and the ability to navigate a complex and political environment.
