**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a **1**st**, 2**nd** or 3**rd** Year** **Heavy Vehicle Apprentice** to join **Krueger Transport Equipment** at their work site in **Truganina**, 22km west of Melbourne’s CBD.

Krueger Transport Equipment are a family-owned business with a proud 45-year-old history in the industry. As market leaders in semi-trailer design and manufacture, Kruger Transport Equipment is widely known for their hands-on approach and customer service, offering customised solutions to an extensive list of clients, each who have different needs.

Working alongside skilled tradespersons you will be taught the skills to repair, service and maintain heavy trailers, repair of diffs, suspension, as well as fabricating trailer components, using power tools, machinery including hydraulic presses and basic auto electrical.

- Good mechanical aptitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
- Good safety awareness
- Enthusiastic to learn new skills
- Good at working with your hands
- A good eye for detail and focus on quality workmanship
- Demonstrate passion, a strong worth ethic & a hands-on approach to work
