**Velocity Truck Centres** Australia is looking for a driven leader to build and execute strategy for our high-volume warranty team in our service department(s) to increase profitability and streamline processes.

You will assist the Service Manager(s) in managing the warranty process to optimise its effectiveness and ensure compliance with vendor policy, customer satisfaction and quality assurance standards while maximising warranty sales and reducing loss by using KPI metrics to drive results.

The
**National Warranty Manager** will play a key role in creating a positive and personal coaching environment by inspiring all service team members to have a successful and seamless warranty event. The role will continually develop and enhance the skills of warranty staff by coaching the team on best practice and one touch logic to claim quality as well as to obtain fair and timely claim reimbursement with a clear focus on labor efficiency goals.

In addition the National Warranty Manager should place an emphasis on removing unnecessary administration in the warranty process and develop a high performance team.

**Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Provide Leadership, Support and Training to all Service Team Members to develop a high performing team that is driven on continuously increasing results and removing waste, while providing a high level of customer expectation for warranty events.
- Utilise training, technology, and systems to reduce waste in the warranty process and increase efficiencies to support One Touch Processing of claims - right first time.
- Must be able to analyse areas of concern or opportunity and present appropriate solutions to the management team for review.
- Warranty Trend Review using Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Including but not limited to; Generating reports, Report Preparation & Data Mining.
- Communicate clear expectations of Warranty KPI’s with the service & warranty team and monitoring progress through training. Including but not limited to; Average days to close service orders, Average days to collect warranty receivable payments, service repair through put goals and technician labor efficiency.
- Develop Vendor Relationships to assure dealer is being paid fair, reasonable, and timely and in good standings.
- Warranty Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, and Accounts Receivable Management
- Audit warranty claim quality and coach warranty team members on claim integrity and best practices
- Maintains Vendor & VVG Training requirements for all warranty staff.
- Administers and promotes Policies & Standard Operating Procedures within service group for warranty events.
- Coordinates warranty team coverage during vacations or shorts staffing issues using company resources

**Skills & Experience**:

- In depth understanding of Warranty Policy, Concepts and Applications
- The ability to deliver results through a team
- Prior experience working in service, in automotive, heavy commercial vehicles or OEM
- Proficient user of MS PowerPoint and Excel to run data analysis
- A strong customer focus
- Well-developed written and communication skills

This position can be based at Darra - Brisbane, Milperra - New South Wales or Laverton, Dandenong or Somerton in Melbourne. Regular intra and interstate travel will be required as part of the position.
