
Medical Workforce Unit Operations Support Officer

The functions of the Medical Workforce Unit include recruitment, retention and credentialing of medical officers. The unit is also responsible for locum engagement, medical rosters, term rotations and leave management.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
Assist with the development and maintenance of improvement projects to support medical workforce unit operational functions, by coordinating and evaluating data, existing processes, and policies to adopt process and system changes.
Develop and proactively foster effective working relationships with the Medical Workforce team, directorates, specialist consultants and other relevant agencies and individuals, including dealing with sensitive or confidential information in an appropriate
Assist the Principal Advisor Medical Workforce Unit in the monitoring and review of, policies and procedures, and other functions such as record keeping, briefing notes and business cases.
