Step into a leadership role as the Head of Finance & Commercial at Federal Hospitality

**What can you expect from a day in this role?**

The Head of Finance & Commercial for Federal Hospitality is responsible for developing and executing strategies for commercial, accounting, and procurement activities to drive financial performance for the large Division. This role ensures alignment with the wider group strategic goals and drives business performance through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency.

Operating within a complex and regulated environment with multiple business units, this role requires influencing and collaboration with multiple key stakeholders whilst maintaining a strategic focus. The position demands adaptability to market changes and regulatory shifts, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

**What will you bring to the role?**

You’ll be an experienced Head of Finance & Commercial, or equivalent role, excited to work with Tasmania’s largest private employer. You’ll bring experience and expertise in the following areas:

- Lead commercial transformation initiatives by identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase productivity
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging teams to adopt best practices and new technologies
- Oversee the development and management of budgets and forecasts for Federal Hospitality, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to optimise resource allocation
- Work with the Central Financial Governance team to implement robust governance frameworks to ensure that controls and workflows are efficient and compliant with regulations.
