The Role

The Data Analyst will work with stakeholders from a variety of industries, such as water and engineering to analyse, interpretate and manipulate geospatial and non-spatial data.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Embrace explorative techniques to analyse and manipulate large datasets and automate the processes
- Create visually immersive and intuitive reports using BI tools i.e., Power BI, to allow clients to monitor performance and make decisions in real-time
- Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders and be seen as a trustworthy resource
- Consult and collaborate with internal data science or data engineering teams for quantitative best practices and solutions

What we are looking for
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related field
- Experience in data science areas such as spatial analysis, statistical analytics, data visualisation, automation
- Ability to script in Python and Data visualisation with Power BI
- Ability and commitment to collaborate with staff on data analysis and other tasks and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audience.
