Molechex Skin Caner & Melanoma Clinic is looking to add warm and professional staff.

Located with in close views to Brisbane City, Molechex is focused on providing exceptional care to our patients in an uplifting environment.

The role is casual 3-5 days per week, with a view of performance-based full time employment. Hours of work are between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday and a Saturday morning, with a varied roster to cover clinic hours. The role would be across our 3 practises at Annerley, Coorparoo and Carindale.

**Our clinics are conveniently located close to public transport.**

Reporting to the Office Supervisor, we are looking for a Medical Administration Assistant to join our administration team.

You will be a point of contact for our patients, doctors and suppliers in the medical field, be required to make patient bookings and provide customer service to patients and medical clients in a friendly and helpful manner.

Full onsite training will be provided.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience in a fast paced medical clinic or similar, preferably a surgical practice
- A working knowledge of Medicare and DVA billing
- A fine tuned attention to detail
- Friendly, caring and compassionate nature
- An excellent phone manner and professional presentation
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritise appropriately in a fast paced environment
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Best Practice knowledge is essential

**Full training will be provided, however experience with the following would be advantageous**:

- Experience working with Skin Cancer Clinic in either/ both clinic and hospital environments
- Clinical knowledge of common Skin Cancer concerns
- Knowledge of materials and instruments required for Skin Caner procedures
- Experience with sterilisation of instruments

**The key responsibilities of the role would include**:

- Providing warm and professional clinical service to patients
- Assisting clinical treatment performed by Doctors
- Correct use of passing instruments and materials, specimen documentation and knowledge of instrumentation
- Briefing and debriefing patients on treatment and procedures
- Maintaining the needs of our patients throughout procedures
- Completing and maintaining patient documentation
- Making appointments and surgery bookings across multiple clinic
- Cleans surgery and consulting rooms thoroughly
- File and medical record transfers
- Taking phone calls and attending to enquiries
- General housekeeping
- Open and closing of the practice

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Coorparoo, QLD 4151: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
