Receptionist

Our paediatric specialist practice in Coorparoo (Brisbane) is searching for a forward thinking receptionist who will enhance our dental team in delivering top quality dental care to our patients. We aim to provide exceptional care in a fun, down to earth professional, yet practical style. The patients we welcome range from new-born to late teens and the care we provide includes early childhood caries, developmental anomalies, special needs, anxiety concerns, emergency trauma, complex medical histories and paediatric oral surgery.

Applicants for this role need to be professional, passionate and caring about their job and the patients we treat. You must be self motivated, and pay meticulous attention to detail. You must be comfortable and experienced in working with children of all ages and abilities, be well presented, have a warm, welcoming nature, fluent in English and be able to communicate well with patients, colleagues and other health professionals.

We encourage our staff to work as a team to ensure that our practice runs effectively and efficiently. You will be required to be able to attend to front desk duties, including answering the phones, making appointments, assisting with general inquiries, general administration duties and processing payments.

Essential Requirements
- Hold a current Blue Card or be eligible to obtain a positive Blue Card.
- Must have the ability to successfully complete a criminal history check.
- Be able to provide an up to date vaccination schedule and be willing to obtain any vaccinations necessary when working with children.
- Current first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification - must remain current at time of employment
- Up to date knowledge of the latest technologies and techniques and have the desire, capability, and the commitment to ongoing learning
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to patients and work with limited supervision

In addition, you must be a fun and outgoing person, have the ability to laugh at yourself, and see things the way a child would. Experience in putting together puzzles, reassembling train sets, and other child friendly activities will be highly regarded.

Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
