**The Role**

Are you a friendly and enthusiastic individual looking for a rewarding career in healthcare? We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Medical Receptionist on a casual basis.

This position offers approximately 34 hours per fortnight (Mondays & Fridays), plus coverage for annual leave and sick leave as required. Shifts may be rostered between 6:45am and 5:30pm.

As a medical receptionist in our practice, you will be responsible for:

- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required

- Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitude
- Previous experience in administrative/reception roles
- Experience using Best Practice is advantageous
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorised to work in Australia
