A day in the life of an Employment Advisor

At the heart of an Employment Advisor role is enabling people with barriers to help find, and keep a job they love. But this role is so much more than that.

The balance of your work might change as you find your stride, but to start off, it will look a little something like this:
60% Creating and sourcing new employment for your job seekers
10% maintaining and completing records, claims, and other important documentation.
15% Collaborating, planning, and sharing your ideas, skills, and experience with the team.
15% Supporting employers with support of the job seekers

**Growth mindset**: The ability to grow and develop is a must. You might not have direct experience working with people with disability, but you are willing to go on a journey of continuous learning and growth.
**Proactive**: You are a self-starter and who has a positive attitude towards building relationships, maximising opportunities, and striving to reach KPIs.
**Administration**: You don’t need to be a tech guru to succeed here, but you do need to have intermediate computer literacy, phone, and record keeping skills.

What we need from you

Current driver's license
Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card), or willing to obtain one
National police check
