About the role
The Authority is seeking for a Manager Reconstruction Assurance to lead advisory and assurance across infrastructure recovery programs in NSW. This role ensures disaster-affected public assets are restored and improved efficiently, aligning with government objectives and funding requirements. This role will focus on aspects such as developing assurance frameworks, endorsing payments, risk mitigation, and providing strategic advice to project stakeholders and leadership.
Lead the creation and rollout of assurance frameworks and tools for infrastructure recovery programs.
Provide strategic advice and validate project and delivery program compliance, performance, and quality.
Represent the Authority in governance forums to support collaborative decision-making.
Monitor program delivery and offer insights to senior leadership for improvement.
Contribute to briefings, audits, and evaluations with accurate, policy-aligned advice.
About You
You are a project management professional with strong capability in developing and applying assurance and governance frameworks/tools for infrastructure programs. Your experience in program oversight and stakeholder relationships will also be key to contract management.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge and experience in public infrastructure delivery, civil engineering, construction management or related fields.
Experience in building and maintaining positive stakeholder relations in a disaster recovery context.
An ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.
Valid driver's licence.
