**THE ROLE**
The Manager, Family Law Program is part of Commonwealth Operations in Statewide Children and Families Operations. The role has a state-wide responsibility to lead the Child Protection interface between the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCoA) and the department.
- The Manager, Family Law Program works with Child Protection and Family Law Program staff to develop appropriate responses to concerns for the safety and well-being of children in the context of family law proceedings, in particular matters with child welfare and family violence concerns.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Family Law Program and the staff of that program.
- Provide authoritative, strategic advice and professional expertise to key internal and external stakeholders on critical family law and child protection practice, policy, funding and program development.
- Provide high-level expertise to Family Law Program service delivery teams with practice consistency and quality assurance and facilitate access to appropriate specialist expertise.
