**About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient booking service for all patients requiring procedural appointments.

About you

Establish and maintain effective communication with patients undergoing procedures or surgery.
Work collaboratively with clinical staff to provide a safe and patient focused service.
Ensure prospective patients have been placed on an appropriate respective waiting list.
Schedule procedural/surgical bookings for patients from the respective Wait List - this may include procedures/appointments within the Specialist Outpatient Department (SOPD), Operating Theatre (OT) and Day Procedure Unit (DPU).
Effectively utilise procedural/ surgical lists and clinic appointments prioritisation of patients for care in collaboration with clinical staff.
Maintain information systems relating to respective waiting lists by ensuring additions and amendments are performed in appropriate time frames in consultation with clinical staff in Procedural Bookings/Theatre and Outpatients.
