Inglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is situated in the Shire of Loddon and provides services to more than 5,500 residents in the communities of Bridgewater, Inglewood, Korong Vale, Newbridge, Serpentine, Tarnagulla, Wedderburn and surrounding townships.
All IDHS facilities are conveniently located on one site - encompassing urgent care, acute, community and residential aged care.
IDHS also offers a diverse range of services including diabetes education, community and district nursing, mental health & AOD counselling, cardiac rehabilitation, planned activity groups, volunteer and strength training programs.

**Salary range per hour**:Dependent on qualifications + superannuation + generous salary packaging option

**Role description**
- Inglewood District Health Services Community and Allied Health Team are seeking an enthusiastic Mental Health Worker with an interest in rural health to join our friendly and skilled multi-disciplinary team.
- The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for the provision of mental health services and/ or AOD counselling, including intake, assessment, counselling and evaluation as needed in the acute, residential, and community settings across Inglewood and Districts Health Service and surrounds. The role is part of a small team who provide services across a number of different program funding streams and programs, making this a diverse and exciting role. The position will work collaboratively with other health services and community agencies to ensure best possible outcomes for clients.

**About you**
- Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Counselling
- Registration with Professional Regulatory Body or relevant Professional Association.For example, AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA.
- Experience working with clients across all ages
- A well-developed knowledge of evidence based clinical interventions for clients with mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues
- Current Victorian drivers' licence.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork and lifelong learning.
