Join our Acute Care Allied Health mental health team
Join the Bayside Acute Care Team as a Mental Health Clinician (HP3) in a permanent full-time role based at the Bayside Community Health Centre, Cleveland. You'll deliver evidence-based, discipline-specific mental health care to consumers experiencing acute mental health concerns within a collaborative, community-based service.
Your New Role
with acute mental health needs. Working within an interprofessional team, you will support recovery-focused care, contribute to discharge planning and participate in quality improvement and service development activities.
You Will
- Deliver discipline-specific mental health assessment, intervention and evaluation
- Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement within acute care settings
- Manage an allocated caseload with effective prioritisation and time management
- Work collaboratively with consumers, carers, clinicians and external agencies
About you:
You are a skilled allied health clinician who values collaboration, evidence-based practice and consumer-centred care within acute mental health services.
You Will Bring
- Discipline-specific qualifications and registration (Psychology, OT or Social Work)
- Experience or strong interest in acute mental health assessment and intervention
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement and safe practice
