**Provides support to users to troubleshoot and resolve issues of moderate complexity across the Registry's Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment.**

**Clerk Grade: 5/6**

**Salary: $93,295 - $102,941 + super**

**Employment Type: Ongoing, Full-time**

**Hybrid with 3 days in Pyrmont Office**

**This role sits within Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) the Identity Security & Digital Division in the IT Service Delivery team.**

**About the team**
The NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages is an agency within the NSW Department of Customer Service. The Registry was formed in 1856 to register life events in NSW accurately and securely for all time. This includes the registration of births, deaths and marriages and official changes of name and sex.

**Your day-to-day**
Provides support to users to troubleshoot and resolve issues of moderate complexity across the Registry's Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment.

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate ability to**:

- Utilise appropriate tools and methods to address user support queries and return user’s ICT systems and networks to optimum efficiency
- Manage set-up activities for ICT devices and systems, and monitor their performance to limit or prevent loss of service to end users
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and technologies to contribute to the identification of ways to improve the efficiency and reliability of products and services and support the continued integrity of the service
- Ensure sensitive issues or security breaches are reported to ensure immediate corrective action can be taken
- Create and maintain support documentation to assist in restoring services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages
- Utilize ITSM tool to manage tasks and tickets, ITIL awareness and knowledge would be useful
