**About this role**

**Team Description**

The Institutional Client Business team is responsible for the delivery of BlackRock's platform and global capabilities to institutional clients in Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**
- As a member of the Client Business (Relationship Management) Team, you will support and maintain institutional investment relationships in Australia. This would include coordination of regular client meetings, liaising with clients, preparation of materials and data requests.
- Working with BlackRock lead RM's to proactively identify new business opportunities and working closely with existing clients to understand their needs and leverage the BlackRock platform to deliver suitable ideas and solutions.
- Partner with key stakeholders throughout the business including marketing, client services, legal & compliance and investment teams in delivering client outcomes.
- Represent BlackRock as an industry leader through regular participation in industry events.
- Partner with the senior Client Business leadership team in executing strategy within the superannuation and institutional investment consultant segment.
- Navigate the global firm and build internal relationships locally and globally enabling you to support relationship management efforts.
- Provide timely and high-quality responses to requests and queries from clients.
- Best practice preparation and execution in client meetings, including pitches, portfolio reviews and due diligence meetings.
- Adopt and embody BlackRock's principles, being innovation, a One BlackRock approach, passion and being a fiduciary to our clients.

**Knowledge/Experience**
- At least 3 years in financial industry.
- Helpful but not mandatory to have a proven track record supporting Institutional/Superannuation business channels within an investment management environment
- Product knowledge of ETF's, and Managed Funds investments an advantage.

**Skills/Qualifications**
- You should have a University degree in any discipline. Having additional industry-based qualifications will be an advantage.
- Possess a good understanding of the asset management industry in Australia.
- Be a strong team player who can collaborate internally and leverage the Firm's resources and global infrastructure to deliver the best in class service and solutions to our clients.
- Be a self-motivated individual with a commitment to excellence.
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
- A client first attitude and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
