The team at **Penske Australia **have an excellent opportunity for an LV or HD Mechanic with an interest in transmissions, to join our **Adelaide Branch. **The successful applicant will be provided on the job as well as factory approved technical training on our Allison products, in order to develop into a specialist in this area. In this role you will:

- Develop into a specialist in Allison products.
- Carry out diagnosis, repairs and rebuilds on heavy manual transmissions.
- Provide great customer service - you will be the point of contact for customers.
- Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the team.

**About you**:

- Trade qualified LV or HD Mechanic with experience in transmission rebuilds (heavy duty, manual transmission knowledge is preferred, however not required).
- Practical knowledge of repair operations with expertise in operating machinery, tools and equipment and the ability to provide technical support for our products
- Sound technical knowledge and experience in the Penske product range is desirable
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Purpose & Values
- Hold a current Motor Vehicle Repairers Licence, or willingness to obtain.
