We're looking for a qualified, passionate Automotive Technician to join our friendly, family-owned workshop in Enfield. If you take pride in your work, love solving problems and enjoy being part of a supportive team that values quality over quantity we want to hear from you.

About the Role

You'll work on a variety of makes and models, performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance in a well-organised and fully equipped workshop. You'll be part of a close-knit team that supports each other, shares knowledge and delivers top-tier workmanship and customer care.

What We're Looking For

You're a reliable, detail-oriented mechanic who thrives in a fast-paced environment without cutting corners. You bring a professional attitude, strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Cert III or higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Proven experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • A customer-focused mindset with clear communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
  • Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
  • Full Driver's License (essential)
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating Saturday (fortnightly) roster

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, suspensions, transmissions, and more
  • Accurately diagnose faults and recommend effective solutions
  • Provide professional advice on vehicle conditions and servicing needs
  • Conduct test drives and final checks to ensure quality workmanship
  • Communicate updates to the Store Manager and log work using internal systems
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop
  • Support general workshop tasks as needed
