**The Company**

Kane Civil are an established mid-tier family-owned civil engineering company based in Sydney's Eastern suburbs.

**About the Role**

This role ideally requires an experienced Office Administrator. You will be in many ways the face of Kane Civil and the first point of contact for many suppliers and clients. You will be given the opportunity to grow and develop your career in administration for a small to medium size business and in this develop your understanding of how the construction industry operates.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process, record, and update employee information accurately and in a timely manner
- Weekly cross check of timesheets and field dockets
- Maintain all systems including Docketbook, Smartsheets, relevant internal database and all client portals such as Pegasus, 3D safety and Rail Industry worker
- Manage our employee training matrix which includes all employee competencies, qualifications, and inductions
- Onboard plant and personnel to specific projects when required
- Organise and book training courses, medicals, and inductions, ensuring all personnel have the correct requirements to gain access and legally work onsite
- Manage documentation for company plant using our plant management system which involves the recording of all documentation including expiry dates and renewals, insurances, and service history
- General filing of hardcopy and electronic documents i.e. invoices, receipts, contracts
- Assist with payment claims at the end of every month
- Maintain all subcontractor details including insurances, subcontractor statements and relevant tickets for specific projects
- Maintain social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of HR documentation, including but not limited to, staff contracts and position descriptions
- Carry out ad hoc duties as required

**The right person for the role should have**:

- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and use your own initiative
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build client/supplier relationships

**Desirable**
- Experience in the construction Industry
- Payroll processing experience
- Accounting software experience
- Microsoft suite experience with a focus on Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
