2 -Year Fixed Term Contract- Play an important part shaping the future of our iconic Australian institution- Develop automated test cases using proven technologies, working closely with developers and business areas.

The RBA is hiring for an Automation Lead on a 2-Year Fixed Term Contract arrangement. This role is within Information Technology, in a team supporting the Financial Markets Group (FMG) of the RBA. In this position, you will report to Manager, IT Market Systems and work with developers, testers, business analysts and business users in an Agile environment.

About the role- Plan and execute testing related deliverables across various test levels that include both functional and non-functional testing-
- Work with the team to drive quality improvements particularly in the testing space, to ensure a consistent approach to testing and to foster a quality mindset

About you- Strong experience across Automation testing- Experience writing tests in Selenium or equivalent- Experience with Microsoft C# web technologies (ASP.NET MVC, Razor, Blazor etc)- Experience across test frameworks for automated functional and non-functional testing- Demonstrated experience in improvement or creation of test frameworks- Interest in general automation using proven technologies, such as Powershell or Bash
