**Exciting Opportunity for a Surveyor with Our Engineering Client**

**About the Company**: Our engineering client is a reputable mid-tier civil construction contractor with strong connections in the civil construction industry. **About the Role**: We are currently seeking a Surveyor to join our team based in Brisbane. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- **Data Interpretation**: Interpret data from various sources.
- **File Creation**: Create files suitable for successful field use by electronic survey equipment, including models for Machine Guidance Systems.
- **Survey Control**: Understand errors in measurement and determine the suitability of survey control monuments for projects.
- **Control Surveys**: Undertake control surveys including traverse and level adjustment.
- **Onsite Set-Out**: Conduct survey set-out duties as required by the site management team (Project Manager, Site Supervisor, etc.).
- **Survey Reports**: Provide survey reports as required, including conformance and basic volumetric calculations.
- **Progress Claims**: Undertake surveys to support progress claims, such as stockpile surveys and completed works.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in Surveying, suitable for Membership with the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSi).
- Previous experience in civil construction.
- Possession of a class Car Driver's Licence.
- Competence in GPS and UTS machine control.
- Excellent attitude towards safety.
- Good computer literacy, including AutoCAD and 12D.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
