Total Insulation (Qld) Pty Ltd is an industrial insulation company with over 23 years experience in the industry.  We have a long history of successfully completing insulation projects and spiral ducting supply across Australia and overseas.   The Quantity Surveyors position will be based at our head office located at Coopers Plains, Brisbane.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Quantity Surveyor to join our team.  As a Quantity Surveyor with us you will be responsible for preparation, compilation and submission of allocated tenders and quotations, within the required time frame for our current and expanding customer base.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Completing material take-offs

· Pricing and quoting HVAC projects

· Preparing quotations / tender proposals for existing and new projects

· Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

· Negotiating with suppliers and contractors

· Reporting to Senior Management

Key Competencies:

· Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, construction management or an equivalent degree//trade background

· Has minimum 2 years estimating experience in the construction field

· With deep understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices

· Proficient in performing quantity take-offs and developing total cost packages

· With ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and other project documents accurately

· Has technical proficiency in using AutoCAD software

· Excellent written and communication skills
