Cam Can is an Organisation which provides individualised, innovative and flexible support arrangements for people who have a disability so they can pursue a lifestyle of their choice in the community.

We are seeking someone to support a young woman who lives with her parents in the family home south of the river. You will provide in-home personal care, support with daily living, as well as social and community participation.

Mentoring will be provided by the Members family and current support workers until you and the family are comfortable providing one to one support.

The position would ideally suit someone who is confident and fun loving with a caring disposition, is a great communicator and can think on their feet.

In return you will receive an attractive rate of pay including superannuation, salary sacrificing, travel compensation, and the knowledge that you are making a positive difference to someone’s life. You will also receive ongoing training and development opportunities.

Previous experience working with people with disabilities would be ideal, but is not essential. We are interested to hear from people with diverse experience and skills who have a real interest to learn and grow in this role.

You will need a current NDIS worker screening, Driver’s License and your own vehicle, as well as eligibility to work in Australia.
