**What is your new role about?**
We’re on the hunt for a Project Support officer to join our team at a time of growth. Reporting to the Integrated Resource Planning Manager, this role will coordinate and provide support to the Future Energy Systems Team (FES Team). These activities include supporting project governance concept development, options analysis, stakeholder engagement, land acquisition, procurement, financial analysis and business case approvals before handover to Major Projects for implementation.

Your new role will include:

- Coordinate and liaise with any internal and external stakeholders as required to deliver required outcomes for various projects.
- Establish appropriate work order structures and verify work order numbers and undertake financial administration/tracking on project budgets as required.
- Prepare/review monthly project status reports and project documentation on behalf of the FES Team.
- Assist in monitoring project management system controls (Planview) and liaising with Project Managers and Leadership to manage and control projects.
- Assist in writing various project documentation including initial drafts for change requests, project management plans, business cases, board papers, briefs, communications, and other internal approvals as required.
- Prepare/review project support deliverables for compliance with Horizon Power’s Project Management Methodology (PMM).
- Coordinate FES Team and project calendars and events, and project meetings and governance activities.
- Assist with logistics and communications for projects including travel bookings, external stakeholder meetings and publications for integrated resource planning engagements.

**Our new Project Support Officer will have**:

- Experience in Project or Portfolio Planning/Governance/Coordination/Compliance role.
- Experience in developing or reviewing executive papers and approval documentation.
- Business/Finance/Project Management qualifications or other qualifications/experience which demonstrate the ability to coordinate project related activities.
- WA Driver’s Licence Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’.
