**About the Opportunity**

As a **Retail Standards Specialist**, you’ll champion quality, compliance, and operational excellence across the state. You’ll be the key link between national programs and store-level execution, helping retailers meet Metcash Channel Standards, Operational Excellence Programs (OEP), and Food Safety Audit (FSA) requirements.

**In this Role**
- Conduct in-store reviews to assess compliance with Channel Standards, OEP, and FSA
- Provide coaching and training to uplift retailer capability and compliance
- Support stores in adopting compliance systems like REFFS
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Retail Excellence Manager to identify and address systemic risks
- Manage store closures and de-banners as needed
- Coordinate retailer participation in events and programs
- Ensure catalogue standards are met (distribution, ticketing, stock)
- Capture store-level insights to support planning and continuous improvement
