**About the opportunity**:
The Facilities Supervisor (Gold Coast) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the asset maintenance, property at the Gold Coast Campus. In addition, the role supports the delivery of capital and minor works infrastructure programs and the operational functions needed to deliver core business activities.

Your core responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate, supervise and participate in the delivery of maintenance to improve and maintain campus infrastructure to a standard that meets Gold Coast Airport, Australian legislative and University operational requirements.
- Supervise Facilities Officer activities, ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and the University's policies and procedures.
- Inspect the quality of sub-contracted works to ensure adherence to safety, contractual and legislative obligations. Manage schedule and undertake routine inspections of the campus***

**About you**:
You will hold a relevant trade licence and have at least three years relevant experience supervising staff in a maintenance environment. More specifically, you will have:

- Experience managing schedules and undertaking routine inspections of trade works to deliver within required time frames.
- Demonstrated strong working knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, including the proven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to prioritise workload and resources to respond appropriately to Property Services requests.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to effectively engage stakeholders and lead a multi-disciplinary team.

**Salary and benefits**:

- Full-time, continuing (permanent)
- Located at our Gold Coast campus. Generous relocation support available.
- HEW Level 6. The base salary ranges from $88,301 - $96,849 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $113,300.
