**About the company**
Successful **metal fabrication** company servicing the commercial and industrial sectors across QLD. They mainly produce **light metal fabricated products**, and offer full-service manufacturing from **painting, sandblasting, laser cutting through to fabrication.** They have grown into a very well developed metal fabrication company with secure pipeline of work years into the future.
**About the role**
As the **Draftsperson / Detailer** you will be responsible to take control of the drafting and detailing for a variety of **Architectural** and **Fabrication** products. You will need to be very confident in handling project independently.
You will work closely with the managing director, project manager and manufacturing manger on multiple different projects at a time. Very strong attention to detail and a strong metal fabrication background will be necessary.
**Requirements for this role**
- 3+ years Drafting / Detailing experience.
- Metal / Steel Fabrication or manufacturing background essential.
- AutoCad / Inventor / Solidworks
- 3D drafting of Tube/Pipework, Sheet Metal.
- 2D drafting
- Production of detailed shop drawings/parts list for fabrication and client approval
- Production of rendered images for clients
- Understanding of relevant Australian Building Codes and Standards.
