We are seeking an experienced
Sheet Metal Fabricator
with a strong background in
stainless steel fabrication
and proven experience working in the
food processing sector
. This is a
site-to-site role
, requiring flexibility to work at different customer locations. The ideal candidate will not only have excellent fabrication and welding skills but also the ability to
engage professionally with clients
, representing our company's standards on every job.

Responsibilities

  • Fabrication and assembly of stainless steel components and equipment.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • TIG welding, cutting, folding, and finishing stainless steel.
  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety requirements.
  • Liaising with clients on-site, providing clear communication and excellent service.
  • Travelling between sites as required to complete jobs.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator, specifically with stainless steel.
  • Previous experience in the food processing sector is
    essential
    .
  • Strong TIG welding skills (MIG experience an advantage).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Flexibility to work across different sites.
  • Current driver's licence and own transport (mandatory).
  • High-risk tickets and certifications highly regarded, including:
  • Forklift licence
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Knowledge of food-grade fabrication practices
