**Retention Manager**
- We have an exciting new opportunity for a motivated Retention Manager to join our Retail Banking Team in the Townsville or Brisbane Office.
As the Retention Manager you will be responsible for providing exceptional Member experiences by utilising your excellent communication and negotiation skills to educate and nurture our Members and staff on the benefits of continuing with Queensland Country. As an experienced lender and salesperson, you will be motivated by winning back business and increasing loyalty to achieve results. As this is a new role, we are looking for a creative self-starter who works well with others and can handle the fast-paced nature that is required in the team.
- This position is fulltime permanent and based on a minimum 38 hour working week.
**Selection Criteria**
- Highly developed and effective oral and written communication skills, including listening and negotiation skills
- Strong mortgage and consumer lending experience
- Demonstrated ability to take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight
- A solid understanding of the banking industry and competitor offerings (desirable)
- Previous experience in a Retention position (desirable)
