Here is an exciting opportunity to fast-track your career as a Continuous Improvement Finance lead with primary objectives to improve the overall wider Finance function, to help improve the use of its systems, to streamline processes and to reduce manual, inefficient and repetitive work.

We are looking for someone who has the expertise to improve the Finance function, someone who is a true problem-solver with the skillset to drive positive change.

**The Role**

This is a role where you need to find ways to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability with a focus on finance processes and existing systems.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, your main responsibilities will include:

- Undertake deep dive data analysis and value stream mapping with a focus on all existing Finance processes
- Examine strengths and weaknesses of current finance processes
- Identify gaps, bottlenecks to eliminate work duplication, influence operational cost reduction and deploying best practices across the business
- Find ways to automate financial and operational processes
- Break down information silos to make finance processes less complex
- Bring additional clarity in role divisions
- Drive change in Finance workflows to increase efficiency, find ways to minimise manual or repetitive work and avoid data entry mistakes
- Investigate the use of existing and new technology to automate finance processes
- Improve payment speed or reduce PO delays
- Find Improvement Initiatives with AP/AR, Expense Management, Inventory, Finance Systems, Procurement, Asset Management
- Building relationships with Finance, Procurement, ICT, Assets and Operations Departments
- Contribute to wider tactical & strategic matters related to continuous improvement across departments

This role will initially start on a contract daily rate basis with the potential to go permanent as there will be ongoing Transformation projects.

**Your Skills & Experience.**
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or related field
- You either have a background in Finance and have participated in process improvement initiatives, or you have a background in Continuous Improvement or Consulting with an understanding of Finance and its processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work with various stakeholders across the business
- An ability to engage the team, to build team support for the changes you wish to implement across the business
- Uncommon ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Exceptional analytical, investigative and conceptual skills
