**Description**
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the company's finance function and be a key member of the executive team, partnering with the CEO to ensure that the company's financial strategy supports its growth agenda. Broad accounting experience and multi-disciplined industry experience is desirable as we continue to expand beyond our core business in hospitality with a future focus and development of our health division as we continue to grow.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Communicating commercial, statutory and business information to the CEO, Board and members;
- Overseeing the group budget and forecasting process;
- Contributing to the execution of strategic acquisitions;
- Oversight of consolidated statutory and management reporting, audit, tax, treasury, and cashflow reporting and management.
- Driving a company-wide focus on financial performance and commercial outcomes;
- Developing strong relationships with the CEO, Board, executive teams and key advisors.
**Qualities and Experience**
To be considered for this role, you will have previously been a part of a senior leadership team, with a proven track record of success leading a finance and commercial team in a medium to large organisation.
You will be an open communicator and have the ability to lead, develop and empower others. You will have previous experience successfully building and maintaining relationships at a senior level, while having demonstrated experience engaging and communicating with local and internationally based non-financial stakeholders.
Ideally, you will have a relevant professional qualification (CA/CPA), or equivalent significant prior experience in overseeing the work of technical accounting specialists.
As a focused Chief Financial Officer, this role joins the senior management team and reports directly to the CEO, offering strategic and operational finance support.
Your team will be key members in the evolution of finance function introducing innovative reporting to achieve positive outcomes throughout the business.

- Be a professional financial leader, mentor & manager of the finance team
- Analyse results to provide strategic operational planning
- Identify opportunities whilst monitoring cost control initiatives
- Maximise financial outcomes through effective cash flow management
- Identify potential investment strategies
- Budgeting & Forecasting processes
- Advisory skills on long-term business and financial planning
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
