**About the role**

As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of retail operations across one or more states, currently NSW/ACT. Supported by an experienced team of Area Managers and Store Managers they will be looking to their Regional Manager for coaching and guidance on the operational and strategic requirements of the business in their patch.

This role will include traveling and meeting with our amazing teams across Australia.

Core responsibilities
- Monitoring budgets and rosters to ensure sales targets and KPIs are achieved.
- Supporting the team to ensure stores operate to agreed lease terms and hours of operation.
- Oversee the hiring activities of leadership and Optometry positions for the assigned regions.
- Work with stores to develop brand awareness; establish, maintain and expand the customer base.
- Assist teams with solving complex problems and identifying non-conformances to procedures and processes; make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Implement company strategies and assist with change management activities.

**About the person**

This role would suit a person either in a similar role in the retail or health care industries, or perhaps someone who has strong retail management experience but seeking to further their career in a larger global organisation.
- Ideally 3+ years of retail management experience supporting 20+ sites.
- Qualifications in retail management or similar/relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Strong collaborative leadership style that results in the development of meaningful relationships.
- Ability to professionally and constructively influence all stakeholders, both upwards and across the assigned regions.
- Solution and continuous improvement focused approach to solving problems.
- Genuine and sincere passion for customer service and health care.
- Proven ability to coach effective sales and leadership skills.
- Ability to make decisions quickly and think creatively.

Optical industry experience is helpful but not essential.
