**About the centre**

North Melbourne Recreation Centre (NMRC) is an aquatic and recreation Centre that supports participation in sport at all levels, from family to professional. It is also home to North Melbourne Football Club and Fencing Victoria. The Centre is designed to provide the community with a range of recreational, social, cultural and educational experiences. NMRC is located at 206 Arden St, North Melbourne and includes the following facilities. One Court Stadium Health Club Group Fitness Room Spin Room Multi-Purpose Rooms Outdoor Heated Pool Outdoor Heated Toddler Pool.

**About the role**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at North Melbourne Recreation Centre. As a senior member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our Frontline staff team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to our members. With the support of the Manager, your primary focus will be on enhancing the member experience cycle through innovation and technology.

You will be responsible for various areas including membership sales, banking management, customer service, facility bookings, café operations, stock and merchandise, as well as duty manager and lifeguard direct service hours.

Creating a positive culture with a strong sense of accountability will be key to the success of the frontline team and the smooth operation of our customer service department.

This is a full time position with a salary of $57,456 + super.

**About you**
- You have a proven track record in customer service leadership, ideally within the recreation or hospitality industry.
- Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enable you to inspire and engage the Frontline staff team.
- You possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, allowing you to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
- You are a proactive problem solver, consistently seeking innovative ways to improve the member experience.
- You have a passion for fostering a positive culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional development among the customer service team.

- First Aid Certificate

- Pool Lifeguard Certificate

- Relevant diploma or equivalent
- Sport and Recreation and/or Facility Operations experience
