About the Role
As a Risk Reporting Analyst within our Risk team, you will help with development, coordination of and input of content to various Risk reports. You will be assisting the Manager, Risk Reporting and the broader team to continuously improve all aspects of Risk Management within the Bank.

What will your day look like?
**As a Risk Reporting Analyst, you will**:
Develop, coordinate and enhance the preparation of credit risk and other critical reports for submission to Risk Committees, the Bank and the Board.
Manage and maintain the Defaults & Recoveries System (DRS), generating essential reports for the Loan Recovery, Customer Support, and Retail Recovery teams, as well as other areas across the Bank.
Produce month end data sets and reports, using a combination of SQL, SAS and Tableau.
Undertake forward-looking risk analysis and provide insightful commentary on all risk categories, contributing to enterprise-level risk reporting. Help identify emerging risks and trends and deliver recommendations to senior management.
Proactively contribute to enhancing risk analysis and reporting capabilities within the organization. Conduct research to create ad-hoc reports on key risk topics and support strategic decision-making through clear, concise insights.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Tertiary qualifications in business or commerce combined with previous experience in financial institution focusing on reporting or analytics with expertise or interest in SQL, SAS or Tableau.
Deep understanding of credit portfolio analysis, risk categories, and their interactions. Ability to interpret and analyse global, regional, economic, and regulatory factors to identify emerging risks and provide strategic insights.
Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, with the ability to draw clear conclusions. Exceptional writing skills to produce high-quality risk reports and business cases that resonate with diverse stakeholders, regardless of their risk knowledge.
Demonstrated success in managing and influencing relationships across various levels of the business. Sound negotiation and communication skills to foster collaboration and guide decision-making effectively.
Strong ability to balance multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
