**About the role**
As the Treasury Risk Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking the tasks needed to complete the daily, monthly, and quarterly monitoring and reporting requirements covering treasury related risk including counterparty credit, interest rate and liquidity risk. You report to our Senior Accountant who is responsible for the accurate and timely Treasury Risk Reporting for the Bank; whilst also supporting the Treasury Back Office and Operational Accounting functions of the Bank.

Based in Brisbane, the Treasury Risk Reporting role sits within the Finance Team of the CFO group at Great Southern Bank. **As Treasury Risk Reporting Analyst you will**:

Prepare critical Treasury position reports by utilising financial and banking data to ensure positions remain within agreed risk appetite
- Prepare reports that monitor trends within the Bank
- Provide assurance over data accuracy
- Investigate and escalate breaches/triggers or issues as needed
- Compile and prepare specific reports for committee and regulatory reporting requirements including the Asset Liability Committee and Board
- Provide training and supervision to junior team members
- Develop strong working relationships across different areas of the business such as Treasury and Market Risk
- Lead and/or contribute towards formal submissions with clearly articulated recommendations to the Asset Liability Committee and Board

**What we’re looking for**
- Two plus years’ experience in Treasury, financial or regulatory reporting role within an ADI
- Previous experience in identification and measurement of financial risk exposures
- Previous experience in using the Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) system to produce risk reporting
- Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Visual Risk/GTreasury)
- Understanding of financial products and treasury instrument utilised by an ADI
- Proven ability to perform reporting using spreadsheets, including the ability to use advanced formulae and macros/VBA
- Undergraduate degree in Finance (or equivalent)
- Professional accounting designation (preferred)
