An exciting opportunity has become available to join HIA’s Events and Communications team as an Event/Administration Coordinator in our Adelaide office (Hindmarsh).

**The Role**
The Event/ Administration Coordinator assists in the development and delivery of a profitable events program for HIA’s South Australia (SA) and Northern Territory (NT) region, whilst also performing the following functions:

- Building and maintaining relationships with HIA members and partners.
- Liaising with entrants regarding events and awards submissions.
- Promoting upcoming the annual awards program and events to HIA members and the wider industry.
- Assisting in the delivery of an outstanding annual events program across SA and NT.

**The ideal applicant will have**:

- Construction industry knowledge and experience (desirable, but not essential).
- High attention to detail and well organised.
- Previous experience in events coordination or willingness to learn.
- Confidence in performing administration duties in support of events and the annual HIA Awards program.
- Intermediate administrative and computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), and Database management.
- Strong customer relationship focus.
- Strong time management skills.
- Positive mindset and capability to work well in a team environment.
