We are a small, family-owned OSHC and vacation care operating in Alexander Heights.

We are currently seeking a diploma qualified educator to step into the role of nominated supervisor/responsible person at the service. This has the opportunity to progress into a stand-alone coordinator position. We own and operate another service nearby where you will have the support of leadership and mentors to guide you through your role. This is a good opportunity for an experienced diploma qualified educator to grow and develop into a leadership role.

There is flexibility around this position, and we are also open to applicants who are currently coordinating OSHCs or worked in leadership before and are wanting to continue as a stand-alone coordinator.

**General duties/responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Meeting and greeting families and parents.
- Building positive and nurturing relationships with children, families and the community.
- Creating meaningful and educational experiences for little people.
- Documenting these experiences with the support of two pedagogistas (or educational leaders) and your other team member(s).
- Participating in the planning of vacation care programs.
- Running and participating in vacation care programs.
- Some food preparation for vacation care periods.
- Some food preparation and service for breakfast/afternoon tea.
- Maintaining a high-quality service provision more broadly including compliance-related duties.

Duties will differ to suit the applicant's level of experience and areas of expertise.

**Requirements of the role**:

- Willingness and eagerness to learn.
- Love for working with little people and fostering positive engagement and relationships.
- Ability to support a small team (one to two people).
- A diploma qualification (at a minimum).
- A current WWCC.
- A current FirstAid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Prior experience as an OSHC coordinator or nominated supervisor/responsible person is highly regarded but not essential.

Our hours of operation are 6.30am-9.00am and 2.45pm-6.00pm, Monday to Friday. The suitable applicant will need to be available to work full-time hours during vacation care period when our service is open 6.30am-6.00pm.

Part-time hours: 30-38 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
