**About Us**
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
**About the Role**
Reporting into the Senior Registrar, Moorabbin Magistrates' Court, the Court Coordinator is responsible for the effective listing of cases in the Moorabbin Magistrates' Court and responsible for case flow management within the Court, ensuring all legislative requirements are met. In this critical role, you will operate within a complex, demanding and sensitive environment that requires the capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively with the Judiciary, Victoria Police, legal practitioners, various court user groups as well as members of the public, senior officers of the courts and government departments and initiate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role provides excellent professional development into case management as well as team leadership and people-management components.
**About You**
The position requires an advanced understanding of court listing practices and procedures, highly developed negotiation abilities along with an understanding of the Court's protocols and procedures. Your other strengths will include:
