**The Opportunity**:
The IT Service & Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the IT Service Delivery team to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure technology services across the business. This role provides leadership in people management, governance, service delivery, and project execution while driving continuous improvement through ITIL-based processes. The position also oversees vendor relationships, policy rollout, and the delivery of IT initiatives aligned with business objectives.
**Essential Functions**:
- ** Leadership & People Management**:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT Service Delivery team to achieve high performance and professional growht.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-centric culture within the IT function.
- Manage workload allocation, performance reviews, and succession planning.
**Governance & Compliance**
- Ensure IT services and projects comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Own ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
- Monitor service levels and implement controls to manage risks effectively.
**Service Delivery & Operations**
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service desk performance.
- Ensure delivery of reliable, efficient, and secure IT services to meet business needs.
- Drive service improvement initiatives to enhance user satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Project & Program Management
- Manage end-to-end IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven technology solutions.
- Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders and senior management.
**Policy & Process Management**
- Develop, implement, and communicate IT policies and procedures across the business.
- Promote adoption of IT best practices and continuous improvement.
- Ensure alignment of IT processes with business strategy and operational goals.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage IT vendor contracts, relationships, and performance.
- Negotiate service agreements and ensure value for investment.
- Act as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of expectations and outcomes.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Experience managing IT operations in a retail environment, including POS systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop IT staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues effectively.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, project management methodologies, and industry best practices.
