**About the team**:
Coles Express has recently been acquired by Viva Energy Retail, Australia’s largest single branded convenience and retail network.

Viva Energy Retail is a mobility and convenience division of Viva Energy Australia with a high-quality national network of fuel and convenience stores located in metro, regional and on main transport routes, and provides an advantaged position to serve the on-road and local suburban convenience markets.

**About the role**:
The Activity Planning Manager is accountable for partnering with key departments (Merchandise, Marketing and Supply Chain) to lead the Activity / Promotional Planning and act as the SME on how best to plan and schedule activities across all sites.

You’ll also:

- Represent the Operations team as part of promotional planning process to ensure that all promotions land right first time
- Liaise with Merchandise, Marketing, Supply Chain and Category Admin teams to ensure first class communications to site team
- Develop and implement process improvement using new technology and digital opportunities into the promotional planning process
- Manage the Activity Planning process for sites across all functional activity and events
- Build out an annual plan for all activity and manage critical path to implementation

**About you and your skills**:
You will have extensive field retail experience and be able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and manage conflicting priorities to success.

You’ll also have:

- Demonstrated experience in identifying / managing / leading process and systems improvement work
- Have a record of implementing strategy and delivering results, preferably across sites nationally
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to work with people and teams at all levels
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data and financial reporting
- Demonstrated experience of achieving results through engaging people
