**Duties**
APS4 Human Officer roles in PSB, include but are not limited to the following responsibilities.
- Conduct a range of moderately complex HR related activities to provide support to managers and employees.
- Review and assess information from clients to resolve enquiries in accordance with DVA policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
- Complete operational and administrative tasks to support staff using a range of digital systems.
- Assist with the administration of HR functions, respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner, and maintain information and record keeping as per the required procedures.
- Seek learning opportunities to build capabilities and provide support to less experienced staff where needed.

A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.

Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for a specified term of up to 18 months. A specified term may be extended up to a maximum period of 3 years.
