**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Liverpool City Council is guiding this rapid transformation and is seeking Parking Patrol Officers to join our Community Standards Department to assist in monitoring, patrolling and enforcement of all on street parking, as well as Council’s car parking areas. This role also requires enforcing other legislation as outlined in the Parking Patrol Officer Delegation of Authority. The role will also see you:

- Detect and report the following: abandoned motor vehicles, other abandoned articles, and irregularities in signposting, including vandalized signs and accurately complete the Customer Request system or refer as appropriate.
- Monitor and report on Council parks and reserves and other assets in relation to breaches ie, consumption of alcohol, vandalism, littering other pollution incidents and spills to Manager or Team Leader - Enforcement and Parking Unit.
- Undertake outdoor duties during inclement weather (i.e., parking patrols) whilst adhering to the provision of the Workplace Health & Safety Act, including compliance with procedural and personal safety instructions, dress code and conduct regulations.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 6-months experience as a Parking Patrol Officer, a current Class C Driver’s License, has 2 COVID vaccinations and appropriate qualifications. Having taken SEINS course is preferrable.
