And you’ll be part of our high performing team, where you reap the rewards of our collective success now and into the future. **About the Opportunity** We are seeking a proactive Credit Officer on full-time basis based in Crestmead, Queensland who will be able to effectively and efficiently administer credit department activity to ensure ALM cash flow is maximized; ALM’s credit risk is minimized, and customer service is enhanced. **In this Role** - Oversee high-volume collection efforts for ALM clientele, ensuring efficient risk management and negotiating payment terms to align with both business and customer expectations. - Maintain credit limits and trading terms while managing weekly reporting and payment allocations. - Coordinate order pool management, ensuring timely release of orders to meet logístical deadlines. - Resolve disputes effectively and cultivate strong customer relations through proactive communication and problem-solving. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders within a large, national team to achieve collective objectives. **You’re Likely a Match If** You have** - Proficient in administrative tasks and customer service, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction. - Strong time management abilities, adept at prioritizing tasks efficiently. - Self-motivated, confident, and proactive, fostering a positive work environment. - Experienced in a similar role, adept at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and negotiating favorable business outcomes within a fast-paced, collaborative setting. **Life at Metcash** Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
