**About the Opportunity**

Lead a high-performing credit team and help shape the future of independent retail with Metcash. As part of our Australian Liquor Marketers (ALM) business, you’ll play a key role in supporting our partners and customers across the country. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced **Team Leader** to join our Finance team based in **Crestmead, QLD** on a **12-month fixed term contract.**Reporting to the Commercial Credit Manager, you’ll lead a team of Credit professionals to deliver exceptional service and results.

**In this Role**
- Overseeing daily credit operations and workflow management
- Leading and coaching a team of Credit Officers and Support staff
- Conducting monthly debtor ledger and credit limit reviews
- Managing escalated queries and resolving issues within delegation
- Driving process improvements and automation initiatives
- Preparing ad hoc reports and supporting the Commercial Credit Manager
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Fostering a customer-first, collaborative team culture

**You’re Likely a Match If**
- 3-5+ years of credit leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
- Proven problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Intermediate MS Excel and Office skills
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
