Reporting directly to The Chief of Food & Beverage, the role will develop purchasing strategies and oversee sourcing suppliers and purchasing products, packaging, and ingredients as well as supporting the sourcing and contracting of equipment, and services. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers along with coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs. Experience in procurement of packaging and materials is essential for the role's success.-
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities |**- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation
- Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications
- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets
- Working to improve purchasing systems and processes
- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
