**Tell me about this role**:
We are currently looking for security cleared Cost Capability Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career with a leading Defence supplier. This opportunity will take you on a variety of capability analysis, complex systems estimation and assurance tasks.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Provide effective handover of all material, tasks, and products to the key stakeholders
- Assist in the management of the PMO deliverables including providing key documents and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Attend program reviews of submarine design alternatives and cost data during design and construction and whole of life cycle and provide independent analysis to support program decision making.
- Strategise and analyse plans, schedules or analysis of cost estimates.
- Implement capability level trade-off and decision support policies, processes, methods, tools and training.

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Maritime Engineering background including minimum of 8 years in cost engineering.
- 4 year Bachelor of Engineering degree eligible for Professional Membership with Engineers Australia
- Ability to lead and work in a dynamic and emerging project environment as an integral part of a high performing team, and to bring an agile and innovative approach to the task
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the development of defence documents in the Capability Life Cycle environment.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed teamwork and collaboration skills, including clearly demonstrated initiative and proactive behaviours
- Minimum Baseline security clearance and be able to upgrade to an NV1 clearance if required
