About the role:
Lendlease have an exciting career opportunity to lead, manage, and drive our South Australia and Western Australian Cost Planning teams.

This is a hands-on role and will see you managing a team of cost planners and estimators, guiding the delivery of cost planning procedures and processes, and ensuring compliance and alignment with organisational objectives.

As the Cost Planning Manager for SA and WA, you will work closely with our head of cost planning to ensure all functional and business cost planning and estimating requirements are met from conversion to delivery, whilst maintaining knowledge of cost planning developments and requirements, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and naturally encourage and promote performance and development across the team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of Cost Planners and Estimators.- Managing and overseeing the preparation of project cost plans, and estimates including feasibility, business case and benchmark estimates and signing off these.- Guide your team to establish best practice cost benchmarking and analyse information to determine trends within projects and across the industry.

To be successful, you will need:
- Relevant University qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.- Building and Construction industry experience, with experience creating cost plans for large-scale commercial construction projects, working for a main contractor or QS firm.- Experience leading a team, driving high quality outcomes, ensuring timelines are met, and managing multiple stakeholders with competing demands.- Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.- Proficiency in CostX, Estimate One, and Microsoft Excel.
