WISE Employment (WISE) is a successful not-for-profit organisation, committed to providing quality NDIS and other services including employment, training, occupational rehabilitation and allied health services.

WISE is growing in Melbourne and we are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to build our new team up to the next level.

Working with other WISE services in the area, community stakeholders and directly with Participants, you will build a small case load then begin employing Support Workers to deliver NDIS services in
**greater Melbourne **and surrounding regions.

**About the program**:
Through NDIS, WISE provides supports for participants with current funding in their NDIS plans. WISE specialises in the following areas of services and support for participants:

- Social and Recreational Activity
- Capacity Building in life and employment
- School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)

**Your new role**:
The position involves both leading and mentoring a small team, scheduling participant supports and working with our community partners to increase our referral flow.

As a
**Team Leader,** you will work in a flexible arrangement, working from WISE head office in North Melbourne, our Box Hill office
**, **from home and across WISE sites as needed.

Reporting to the Program Manager based in Victoria and working with an experienced team of managers in other states, the
**Team Leader** role is responsible for delivering goal oriented support and services to participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will take responsibility for the delivery of high quality services, referrals, rostering, professional development and supervision of a team of Support Workers and positive participant outcomes.

Understanding the dynamic nature of support work and be dedicated to minimising the risks associated with the service, you will provide effective individualised and tailored supports to NDIS participants to enable them to achieve their goals. These supports will promote community inclusion, independence, decision making, choice and control.

Remuneration for the role is $68,172 FTE, plus super, plus Not for Profit tax effective salary packaging.

To aid you in this role, you will be provided with an Ultrabook with cellular connectivity as well as an iPhone.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in successfully leading and managing a team;
- Proven experience in achieving desired program outcomes;
- Well-developed knowledge of the Disability Services Sector;
- Skills & experience in working with people with disability;
- Ability to use initiative and handle a variety of activities concurrently and with mínimal supervision;
- Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organisational, time management and presentation skills;
- Current drivers licence and own transport.
